During last ten years, Kay Bouvet have innovated the following equipment which have better performance & less power consumption than the existing equipment.
Alcohol / Ethanol Plants
We have a technical tie up with M/s Reunion Engenharia Ltda, Brazil, to establish plants for manufacturing of Rectified Spirit & anhydrous Ethanol, based on Molasses , Grain, Sugar cane juice, sugar intermediates like Secondary juice, B heavy Molasses etc.
  Continuous Pan (For A, B & C Massecuite)
Application : Sugar crystal formation in A, B & C Massecuite

Eliminates : The Conventional batch pan.

Salient Feature        : Utilizes the vapours from the evaporator 2nd & 3rd body.Being in continuous operation, the consumption of vapour is uniform.Steam consumption can be reduced by about 4 to 6 % on cane due to continuous operation.Faster circulation, lower boiling point elevation, better shape & colour of crystal & better purity drops as compared to batch pan.Less space requirement, less power consumption, water saving as compared to conventional pan.
 
  Fluidized Bed Drier
Application : For Drying of sugar

Salient Feature        : Compact size, easy to install & self supporting.Breakdown & maintenance problems are minimized as there is no internal moving part.Crystal remain unbroken & thereby reduces the dust formation.Uniform drying allows sugar crystal to retain there brightness. Venturi scrubber is used in the system which ensures dust free atmosphere. Low sugar outlet temperature & moisture due to effective heat exchange.
 
  Falling film Evaporator
Application : For evaporation of water from juice.

Salient Feature        : Lower sucrose inversion losses & retention time.High heat transfer coefficient.Can work at low T.High flexibility for capacity fluctuations. No boiling point elevation due to no hydrostatic head. Scaling is less than Robert type. Very efficient & maintenance free than others.
 
  Masscuite Filter (Typhoon) Under development
Application : For separation of sugar from 'A' masscuite

Eliminates : Conventional  batch type Centrifugal machine. 
 
 
 
 
Salient Feature        : Replacement to conventional high grade centrifugal. One no. massecuite filter can replace one batch type centrifugal machines of 1750kg / cycle Capacity. It is extremely light in weight & does not require special foundationsThe crystals will not be damaged as they are deposited gently on the filtering screenVery less purity rise in molasses as compared to centrifugal machine. Very low power consumption. Very low maintenance.
